It will be time to go to your hotel.
After breakfast, you will leave for Fez.
You will spend the whole day visiting the city, the oldest imperial city, founded in 808 as the first political, religious and cultural capital city.
The visit will start at the Golden Doors of the Royal Palace, and later you will be able to admire the inside of the impressive Medina.
You will discover more mosques, many kabbalah and Medina before arriving at the tanners district.
You will also see some craft places and their specialties. You will probably recognize some of the Andalusian art and style, so you will understand why Fez is called the city of craftsmen.
Direction Ifrane, a beautiful city up in the mountain often called Moroccan Switzerland. You will stop in Cedar forest, the largest forest in Morocco. You will probably spot some monkeys living
in the wild. Then direction Azrou, and visit of Midelt, famous for its minerals and its apple production.
The trip continues in Ziz valley, to Erfoud where you will visit the marble factory and do some shopping before arriving at Rissani, the former economic capital of Morocco. There you will visit
the local souk, where all the nomads come to do their shopping before going back to their life in the desert.
Continuing to Merzouga, where the desert is, here, called Erg Chebbi, you will spend the night in a hotel overlooking the dunes.
Discovery of the desert by four-wheel drive after breakfast. You will enjoy a tour in the dunes, visit some oases and Khamlia, a village famous for its Gnaoua music. Your guide will explain the historical importance of this people from Black Africa.
Later, you will meet some Berber nomads in the desert and share a very special moment with them.
Back to the village, you will admire the sunset over the dunes.
Before the night in a Berber tent, you will taste a traditional tajine, sharing the life style of some nomads around a campfire and enjoying the night sky.
Your guide will wake you up early to admire the marvellous sunrise in the dunes. Back to the village for a wash and breakfast, you will continue your trip to Rissani and Erfoud where you
will visit the marble factory and do some shopping. Direction Tinjdad and Tinghir towards Todra Gorges, a small paradise for climbers.
You will discover the gorges and admire the landscape over the Berber villages.
In the afternoon, direction Dades Valley where you will stop for dinner and the night.Dans l’après-midi, vous continuerez vers la Vallée du Dades où vous dinerez et passerez la nuit.
You will be amazed by the beautiful views and all the kasbah in Dades Valley in the morning, as you wake up.
Direction Roses Valley and the very high palm trees in Skora.
The trip continues to Ouarzazate, also called the Hollywood of Morocco, as many films such as "Lawrence of Arabia", "Gladiator", "The Mommy" or "Game of Thrones" were shot. You will visit the
movie studios and the local kasbah called Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage.
Free time for lunch.
Then direction Marrakesh. On the way, you will admire the mountains in the Great Atlas, as you go over Tizi n'Tichka pass (altitude: 2260m).
