You will leave Marrakesh and take the direction of Ouarzazate driving up Tizi n’ Tichka pass (altitude:2260m) in the Great Atlas, the highest pass in Morocco.
You will cross the Great Atlas mountains and reach Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage, famous for the shooting of films such as " Lawrence of Arabia", "Gladiator", "the Mummy"
or" Game of Thrones".
The trip will continue towards Dades Gorges and to Ouarzazate, also named the Hollywood of
Morocco, and where you will visit the movie studios.
Then you will drive to Kelaat m’Gouna, also called Roses Valley, famous for its rose festival.
At your arrival in Dades Valley, you will enjoy a nice night sleep in a riad or a local hotel.
You will enjoy Todra Gorges, a small paradise for climbers.
As you explore the gorges, you will see the beautiful landscape over the Berber villages.
Then your trip will continue to Erfoud, with the visit of the marble factory and some time for shopping before arriving at Rissani (former economic capital of Morocco).
There you will enjoy the charm of the local souks, where all the nomads come for their shopping before going back to their life in the desert.
Continuing towards Merzouga, where the Sahara desert is, here, called Erg Chebbi, you will enjoy a camel ride and admire the sunset from the dunes.
Before the night in a Berber tent, you will taste a traditional tajine, sharing the life style of some nomads around a campfire and enjoying the night sky.
On the third day, your guide will wake you up early so you can enjoy the fabulous sunrise
over the dunes of the Sahara. Then you will go back to the village for a wash and breakfast, before
continuing your trip to Ouarzazate, crossing again the Great Atlas mountains till you reach
Marrakesh where you will arrive in the evening; we will drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
