Meeting point 8:00 a.m. at your hotel. Direction Merzouga, in the desert, crossing the mountains in the Great Atlas and Cedar forest. You will go through Ifrane, a city called Moroccan Switzerland because of the typical architecture of its houses and its climate.
On the way, you will discover Azrou, one of the most famous Berber cities in Morocco.
The trip will continue towards Ziz Valley, driving through Midelt and Erfoud, and finally Merzouga, where the Sahara desert is, here, called Erg Chebbi.
Once at the village, you will enjoy a short camel ride and the sunset from the dunes.
Before the night in a Berber tent, you will taste a traditional tajine, sharing the life style of some nomads around a campfire and enjoying the night sky.
Your guide will wake you up early to enjoy the marvellous sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara. Then back to the village for a wash and breakfast, before continuing the trip towards Fez.
Direction Tafilat and Rissani, former capital of the Alawite dynasty, and one of the biggest markets in Southern Morocco.
You will stop at Azrou, in Cedar valley, the largest forest of the Middle Atlas, and where you will be able to spot monkeys living in the wild.
Your trip ends at Fez.
